AERIAL WORK

Several petrochemical companies use Heli Service Belgium's helicopters to check

their pipelines from the air.

The Robinson R22, seating the pilot and one observer, is the perfect helicopter to execute this kind of aerial surveillance in an efficient and economical way.

In case of emergencies, for instance where digging is being done close to the pipeline, the helicopter can easily land and when necessary stop the operation.

Another type of aerial work in which HSB is specialized is the installation of high voltage
power lines. The helicopter can quickly and safely place the cables, thus gaining time as well as money.

The use of helicopters to install these power lines is not only an economical advantage but also environmentally intresting since nature will not suffer from heavy equipment driving through natural areas.

The helicopter has easy access through the air and is not bothered by railways, canals, valleys, highways and other obstacles.

Helicopters can also be used for lifting heavy loads in optimal conditions. A helicopter will have no

difficulties getting to remote locations or valuable nature reserves. Positioning a pole or a power pylon, lifting construction materials on to high buildings or getting large and heavy objects down from higher points are different missions which our experienced pilots will perform without any problems
